SUSTAERO today announced that the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) has officially granted the registration of its corporate trademark, "SUSTAERO." Effective immediately, the company will transition to using the registered trademark symbol (®) across all corporate operations, commercial infrastructure, and digital assets.

This milestone represents a critical advancement in SUSTAERO’s comprehensive Intellectual Property (IP) and Freedom to Operate (FTO) strategy. While the company continues to aggressively insulate its proprietary technology, including its advanced Syngas Optimization for Aviation Renewables (SOAR™) process, through separate patent and trade secret frameworks, the trademark registration legally secures the company’s brand identity nationwide.

In alignment with standard IP governance best practices, including frameworks championed by Canada’s Innovation Asset Collective (IAC), the registered trademark establishes an immediate legal deterrent against brand dilution. It ensures that as SUSTAERO commercializes its breakthrough TRL-9 wood gasification process, its market presence is fully protected from coast to coast to coast.

The updated corporate branding will be integrated across all marketing materials, facility documentation, and partner portals over the coming days.
